Golden Eagle Inn

Excellent place to stay. Comfortable and cozy rooms, awesome food and breakfasts, and an amazing staff. My husband and I came here 2ce so far and know this deffinatly wont be our only trip here. Love the whole inn and would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent food. Definitely feel a chef's presence. You can also tell the owner's are involved. No idea on rooms.

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are spotless, comfortable and the staff is VERY friendly. Breakfast was beyond all our expectations. The food was fresh hot and tasty. Dinner was also very good. I have seen references to a limited menu...well this allows them to serve FRESH foods. My salmon was fresh not frozen, and cooked to perfection. The location is perfect for just strolling around town without getting in the car. It is a great place to stay! We hope to stay again!

We had a casual lunch in the outdoor dining space and it was ok. The atmosphere left much to be desired as the garden beds were full of weeds and old mulch, and the hanging baskets looked like they were in desperate need of water. There was a loud air conditioning unit that was covered with vintage doors that could have been very chic but it was a little too much on the shabby side. Overall the food was average and the cocktails were overpriced for the quality. They were out of two items we attempted to order off the menu and my friends order was wrong. Not impressed.

My fiance and I stayed here for a night and it is a very charming piece of history. Mary Jane and Tom were very hospitable during our stay. It was a little chilly the night we stayed so we really enjoyed the fireplace in our room. The complementary breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious, my favorite was the pancakes.
