Had a good experience 5am-6am this morning. The waitress was very polite and involved in making sure my experience was great. I had the steak tips breakfast and jalapeno poppers.

Food was good but service not so much. I ordered bacon egg biscuits with no cheese and a pancake. Awhile later, I get sausage biscuits with cheese, no pancake. Figured pancake comes out separately. Nope. Never did. Finished eating and waitress asks if I need anything else, of course I say no, because I'm obviously not getting my pancake. I get the check, it says cheese on it. Usually meals are cheaper without cheese. However, the concern is. My bill was $8.49. I give waitress a $10, she says let me go get change. Then immediately says never mind. I have it here. Pulls out $1 and leaves. Really, tip yourself $.51 cents. Really, really. I'm done with this place. They were not even busy when I ordered my food. And while I do not like to mention names, my waitresses initials were Jodi. Oh yeah, I ordered at 2148 and am leaving now at 2223. Wow, what a long meal for 3 biscuits at a non busy restaurant.

Ate here a couple of days ago...and tonight. A couple of days ago I had country fried steak. Everything about eating here was good. The food, the atmosphere and the service. Tonight, on the other hand was just a bit different. Ordered water to drink( I drink coffee all day long driving a truck) and a mushroom Swiss Burger with fries. Food didn't take too long to come out and looked great. I asked the server for some mayonnaise. She informed me the Burger had garlic mayonnaise already on it. I tell her it's for my fries. She says it'll take her 30 seconds to get it. I say that's fine. The burger come with a couple of onion rings on it. I take them off to eat separately later. Meanwhile, the server takes someone's order, then enters it in to their computer, then gets drinks , and other stuff besides bringing mayonnaise to me. I start eating the burger. It's really good. Usually mushroom Swiss burgers are a fair bit messy. Not this one. Genuinely good burger. I finish the burger. I eat the onion rings. Very good onion rings. Then I sit and wait. Maybe five minutes. I push the plate away from me. All of the fries uneaten. A small amount of ketchup waiting to be joined by some mayonnaise. Another ten or more minutes. Server passes my table half a dozen times. Not a word to me since telling me "30 seconds". She returns and asks if there is anything else that I need. I hesitate. I've been pondering all the things I wanted to say. I say just a check. She produces it instantly. I put a $10 down for a $9.11 check and gather my jacket and leave. I imagine she wondered why I only tipped 89 cents. I wondered what those fries would have tasted like and why in the world I paid for them. Then I refilled my thermos in the connected convenience store and went out to go to bed in my truck.
