Gettin Crabby At The Crab Barn

Last night was our first time at the Crab Barn. But let me go back to when I made my reservation first. Maggie was very sweet and helpful. When the general manager called to confirm everything the day before( we had a party of 12) he was just as nice and very helpful as well. Fast forward to our visit. We got there and we gathered in the small bar area and had drinks. I assumed they were getting our table ready but in reality they were letting us great each other and wait for the others to arrive. Once they confirmed everyone had arrived we were taken to our table in the larger of the two seating areas. Marsha was our waitress and she was wonderful! Very accommodating and her aim was to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was very good. I can only speak for my plate as we had a large party but everyone said they were happy and would come back again. My steak was cooked perfect ????. Crab legs were good as well. My sides were not your typical sides. Crabby potatoes were very creamy with shredded potato instead of mashed and the spinach was delicious. Everything came out hot ????! Even the bread in the beginning was warm. My husband's dessert came out with a candle in it (it was his birthday)! My creme brulee was very good! All and all we had a great time and will definitely be back! A birthday well spent! Thanks for making it great Crab Barn! ????

Okay, let me start by saying I'm not an easy customer. Ultimately, I appreciate great service more than a great meal. This place didn't disappoint in either category. Our greeting upon entry was ehh, gonna chalk it up to her having a bad day... then we were seated, and greeted by Molly. What a great example of a genuine server, who wants you to enjoy every part of the experience. I read other reviews first, and they were all over the place. I'm so glad we went and had a great time. Atmosphere was great, drinks were delicious, oysters, shrimp, crab and salads all delicious! We will definitely return, fingers crossed we get Molly again!! ⭐⭐⭐

We were given a table 1 table a away from the hostess stand, we sat for 10 to 15 minutes because they forgot to assign a waiter to us. The waiter had no clue what was going on at our table, meaning who got what drink/food, he was clueless. Spinach Marie was reccomended and it sucked. The carrot cake was also recommended and it sucked. The meal itself was good. $45 for crab legs and 4 sides not to bad. The calamari is excellent and it's real not the rings. I would go back IF that's where my friends chose to go but it would definitely not be my first choice base on service. The inside is really neat. The bathrooms make you feel like you are under the sea.
