Candy's Homemade Icecream

I know the locals love it but there are better places around. She does make some of her own homemade hard ice cream and does make some Italian Ice. Service is always very slow. You can get a microwaved hot dog pretzel and other items to eat.

Amazing little piece of dessert heaven in the humble town of Shoemakersville, PA. The handmade ice cream is delectable, the service is fast, and... there's a reason you rarely DON'T have a wait in a line.
If I had to nitpick anything, they could probably use more seating - indoor or outdoor - for the countless numbers of guests during the summer who enjoy Candies' delicious ice cream products.

The best ice cream ever! Candy, the owner, has absolutely the most amazing homemade flavors to choose from. She also serves meals that you can enjoy before your scrumptious treat! Always very satisfied!

The BEST ice cream around!!
I have been going to this place since its opening day. The ice cream is so creamy and tasty. The Italian ice is so good, as well as the Gelatis. They have grill type meals as well. I love the hamburger BBQ. Candy is so sweet and friendly. I rarely see her husband, but he is the one who is responsible (with Candy, of course) for the many delicious flavors of the homemade ice cream. I am so thankful for such a special place!!!

Ice cream was great was usual. As usual the line was long but it was a Sunday night at about 6pm so that it to be expected. Great place, love the ice cream flavors and they make fresh cones.
