Sky City Seafood Market

Put in a large order a few weeks in advance for a small family event. Service was great, food even better. Platters looked so good we forgot to take pictures. Thank you guys so much for the great experience! Will be back for more every time I'm back in Reading.

The food is always on point when ordering from Sky City Seafood. One time, they forgot to add the extra shrimp I ordered. The owner linked the shrimp to my next order I placed a few weeks later with no problem!

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Shillington was home to a seafood boil and fish fry spot. I was doubly surprised when I tasted their offerings. I thoroughly enjoyed their Healthy Combo salmon fillet with Cajun seasoning. The salmon had good flavor as did the veggies. I also tried their fried seafood combo. I really liked how lightly they breaded their seafood. Everything tasted fresh and wasn't too oily. However I would have liked a little more seasoning in the breading batter. Their fries were ok. The chicken wings were fried just a little too long but I didn't mind. The best thing about this location though? The price! Wallet friendly, indeed. This one's going into my weekly rotation.

Mussels are SO good. I got them with garlic butter, Cajun seasoning, and mild spice. Big mussels lots of flavor. And the fried shrimps were tasty too.

We ordered the snow crab legs combo, shrimp and scallops and the steamed seafood combo. Our food was delicious! We enjoyed the garlic butter seasoning. Seafood and vegetables were colorful and flavorful. Would highly recommend trying this unique market!
