Went here to celebrate our son's birthday and had an awesome time! Such a fun atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding! Took home enough leftovers for another full meal at home!! Make sure you show up with a hearty appetite because you're gonna need it!

Buca serves it family style so think of the family dinner scenes in The Godfather and you'll understand. Food is always great and "for the most part" on the traditional side of Italian. If you have 6 or more people... Ask for the pope room

This is a festive place with friendly and payed back staff. The food is especially good! They have no windows and the walls are entirely covered with framed pictures and posters. This is definitely somewhere you will want to come with a group and not by yourself.

Let’s talk about the decor. The fact that the walls are covered in old newspapers and pictures it gives you a lot to look at while you are waiting for your food. The era is friendly and it’s a great place for parties. Next the service. Not only is the place an overall friendly envirorment, everyone is upbeat and ready to help you. They know what they are doing. Every person that helped us has checked in for refills and to make sure everything is good several times throughout the meal. Every visit I make they always greet you with a smile. The food is amazing and flavorful. What makes it better is that it is fresh. The family style is amazing for leftovers and sharing. When you are craving comfort Italian this is the place to go. Not to mention every holiday there are specials and this is how I spend my holidays with my family. Also every birthday dinner I choose Buca every year I get a signed card and get sung to. This is the best place to be celebrating your birthday or any other holiday. In my opinion Buca is better than any Italian food place I’ve ever been to.

When reviewing this place you have to start with the place itself. Tacky? Quirky? I'm going with amusing. I love the decor. Worth going just to see the place. The food is good. It's old school Italian but family style. We had a table of 4 and ordered a small salad which we finished and a large spaghetti and meatballs which we could only eat 1/2. We took the rest home. I consider Alfie's in Wildwood, NJ to be the 5 for Old Italian but this place is a solid 4+.
