Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Another great Cracker Barrel experience. We showed up in the middle of the dinner rush and they were working like a well oiled machine. The manager was helping bus tables. Really all hands on deck. The food came out surprisingly quickly. Southern fried chicken, dumplings, etc. Great dinner.

The food is always good. Usually do Mothers day. Go early or you will wait. My favorite, grits, and bluberry pancakes. Also if you do dinner, the coca cola cake is the bomb. You can order to take some home. Plus I love the shop. If my review was helpful please hit like.

When you go here, choose the sampler. So many good meats all on one plate. You get to choose your sides and it was delicious. They had a fire going, so it was nice and cozy. Wait staff was very nice. Not too long of a wait. Quick service and good food!

Love their breakfast! Their dumplings are really good. Their grilled chicken salad was awesome! We did takeout, while waiting for our order to be done, numerous people checked out and were saying how awesome and moist the fried chicken meal was. This is on my radar for the next time! The Hamburg store is one of the test kitchens for this! O hope it last long enough and is good enough to stay on the menu because, no place in the Berks County area makes fried chicken even close to what my grandmother from South Carolina did!

Cracker Barrel is definitely one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always hot, fresh, & delicious, & you'll never go away hungry! The menu offers something for everyone, & their prices can't be beat. The staff are always very friendly, courteous, attentive, & knowledgeable. It's a great place to eat alone, with a friend, a group of friends, or family. It is child friendly & is handicap accessible. I ordered the meatloaf dinner, and as always was very satisfied. It was absolutely delicious! My partner decided he wanted Momma's french toast, & ate every bite. The restaurant is spacious & easy to maneuver in. Every Cracker Barrel is conveniently located & their signs are hard to miss.
