Visited for the first time today. The $10 buffet was absolutely amazing! All of the dishes were highly aromatic and truly a delicious combination of flavors. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The staff was very attentive and nice. A very enjoyable experience....will be back again!
I'm not the toughest critic of Indian food, but we've had nothing but good experiences here both in terms of food and experience. The staff is very nice and helpful. I'd be comfortable recommending it to anybody.
This place was my gateway into Indian food. I'd had my doubts up until then and let me tell you I was sorely mistaken. This place is likely the only Indian restaurant I'll every trust. The food is authentic, full of flavor, and tender as all can be. These guys rock. The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. They're on point with service and the $10 all you can eat lunch special truly cannot be beat. I'm glad this place is doing great and highly recommend you give them a try. Shout out to my dude Rashal, best host around.
Ate here for the first time today. The buffet was very nice, the food very good. Even my typically "meat and potatoes" husband enjoyed it. The service was excellent, the staff was attentive and kind. A very nice experience. We will be back!
I came to Reading to visit and stay with a friend for sometime and had a craving for Indian food. Being Indian American myself, I am naturally choosy and discriminating when choosing an Indian restaurant to dine at. Since I'm not from the area, I had to Google to see where the nearest Indian joints were. This place had consistently high ratings, 4 and above.
I must start off by saying that the staff was welcoming and friendly. I chose the buffet to sample and get a feel of their general daily menu.
The food was of good quality, but wasn't outstanding. The lemon rice didn't have enough salt. Veggie dishes were good and had the right traditional consistency in texture and taste.
The chicken curry was seasoned well, but the chicken wasn't as soft and tender as I would have liked. They didn't have a lamb or goat dish as
most Indian buffets offer. They should of offered a fish curry dish in lieu of the lamb or goat at least.
The Indian rice pudding was too watery and not of thicker consistency.
Overall a good place in a smaller city like Reading.
