“All those commercials about fish sandwiches hooked me and lured me in! I must say, it was a great, Crispy fish sandwich. I asked for less tartar sauce, and they actually listened. Arby's seems to be setting the pace for constantly new and exciting sandwiches for a fast food chain. I wish they'd offer some healthier options for beverages. This location has a problem with the cold air entry at their side entrance during the winter...most annoying, and used by a majority of the patrons.”

My friend and I visited 1787 last Sunday (not the first time) and were very pleasantly rewarded with delicious cuisine and service (Brandon was a great waiter). My friend had the mushroom and Swiss burger which was cooked to perfection. I tried the cauliflower, cheese bacon dish and loved every bite. The side salad had tasty spring greens and tomatoes with a perfect balsamic dressing (my choice). We were seated in the back portion which is airy and open. Other times we sat in the front. “A hidden gem!! You never know what you may find. A great place to get fresh produce and the best meats and cheeses around. Go there on Fridays for their special lunch. They make great cold sandwiches any day of the week that they are open. They have a small area where you can sit and eat. This store has been along Route 61 for at least 10 years. I used to take my elderly mother there for her favorite sandwich, and I would get my ham and cheese with extra lettuce. Yummy Dietz and Watson meats. Mom passed 6 years ago and I didn't have occasion to go there, but have been wanting to return. I finally stopped yesterday and purchased a tall cabinet which is exactly what I have been looking for. You never know what surprise you may find here!”
