Zara Halal Food

One of the best places to get chicken over rice, aside from the original on nyc.

We were in the area and hungry/in the mood for halal. Found Zara, saw the ratings, and plugged the address into gps...thought it was in Bensalem Plaza but couldn’t find it; my husband called from the parking lot and gleefully told me, “It’s in the gas station over there.” I immediately said there’s no way I’m eating gas station halal food, and he clarified that it’s a food truck in the parking lot of the gas station. Having attended Temple U, I know how delicious food truck halal can be so I said okay, and woohoo! Excellent! I had a gyro and my husband had half chicken shish/half chopped chicken over rice. The white sauce and hot sauce (always get both) were terrific. Everything was delicious. They use canola oil (soy allergy so we always have to ask). Go get some!

Good food and service specialist in gyros

Tried this place earlier this week, owner was super cool and fast!! Food was out of this world, went back again today and was even better!!! Truly a hidden gem, price is good and food is great.. everything was cooked in front of me and you can see and taste its freshness!! If I could give it 6 stars I would!! I would recommend it all day long.
