Metro Diner

Great diner in the Philly area. One of my stops each time I visit.. food is constantly good and plentiful. However, as it is very popular, peak times expect a wait for a seat

The food was excellent & service to match. Alberto, the manager, was great. Hr & his staff really made sure our visit was enjoyable. Will definitely come back again.

When you visit, the chicken & waffles are a great hit. I usually am not a fan of spicy food, but their spicy syrup is pretty good on the chicken & waffles with the strawberry butter. My second favorite is the Crab cakes Benedict.

Had their meatloaf plate. Amazzzing. Meatloaf not too soggy, had a crisp which is unique. The mashed potato on the side was one of the best I tasted. It had bacon bits in it. The zucchini on the side was the right crisp and cooked balance. I ordered a biscuit . It was flaky and good. Probably need more baking on it. The staff was really cordial the chef came and inquired . Good vibes.

This was a cozy place for brunch. Not your typical greasy spoon diner. Food was very good with upscale diner service. Our server was DIANE she was very experienced, knew how to work a table with a smile. Our portions were huge!! Everyone seemed to work as a team helping each other out. They serve lunch and dinner as well. Good vibes here. We will be back while we are still here visiting. Give them ten stars if i could.
