Old Croydon Cafe

Love this place. Let me start by saying that I go to places for the food, not the decor. My wife and I have been going here for about 4 months now. I wanted to really try this place out prior to reviewing. I will tell you that I am hesitant on letting the cat out of the bag on this place, but here you go......

The ambience is as basic as you get here but what it lacks in decor it makes up for in the personality of the wait staff and owners. These people invite you in and make you feel so welcome every time you come in.

The food. Oh my god, all I can say is that it's amazing. I love that the breakfast menu allows for so many half orders. This allows me to try new things every time I come here. The blueberry pancakes short stack is awesome and one of my favorites. The Reuben, French toast, chipped beef (SOS), waffles, made to order omelettes and homemade sausage gravy and biscuits are all fantastic. If you want want a fancy, hipster, I only eat kale shakes, style place then please go eat elsewhere as I don't want to see you in here anyway. But if you want damn good breakfast then this is the spot.

New to area. Ordered porkroll egg and cheese and waffle. Not bad. Little buttery and salty. But overall 4 stars out of 5

Great small town family Diner! Their specials are closer to a 5 star restaurant quality, but you still get that family friendly neighborhood feel! Highly recommend!

this place is crazy good, we brought or Whole Bowl team from Trumann boys and girls here for breakfast before a tournament. The service was excellent. You got your food quick it was still hot and delicious there's nothing I can complain about it was great. I would recommend this place to anyone that ask me that's how could the place is so if you want something good and great service you come here.????

We went here the night before going on a cruise. The service was some of the best that we have experienced. The food was excellent. We would go back in a heartbeat!
