Hickory Kitchen

Corn Bread, Corn Bread, Corn Bread,! They once said something like this in a real estate class that I attended in college. Maybe I was just thinking about corn bread from Hickory Kitchen and not actual what was said about location.

Located in the center of Doylestown, I would say it is defiantly worth the effort to find a parking spot, maybe park at the court house parking in Doylestown and take the short walk if you are in good shape. (Slight hill)

I have traveled throughout the south and I can tell you that the warm corn bread Hickory Kitchen serves Is the best.

Good News, after you eat your corn bread and maybe pulled pork sandwich with 6 different barbecue sauces to choose from, you can walk down hill. By the way, the owner is always thankful for your business, (I really like that) and a great to meet locals and watch a small business at work.
Nice day, they have couple tables outside.

I ordered a cheeseburger from here. I would definitely get another one from here. It was very juicy and tasty.

I was astonished by how good the brisket and corn bread were. We had an outstanding meal!

Quick service. Excellent fresh food. Loved the BBQ, especially the brisket. Corn bread is Fab. The place is very simple and small inside but has a lot of take-out options.

A nice variety of selections. Sit down or take out. We enjoyed brisket and ribs with sides. Additionally we usually get special breakfast sandwiches from there stand at the Wrightown farmer's market.
