Shakshuka was excellent. Jamaican Blue mtn BLEND coffee is OK, but doesn't taste enough like REAL JBM for my preference. I'm guessing it's less than 50% JBM cut with lesser grade coffee. As for a disappointment, bathroom. Wow only one single stall for ladies and NO towels? What am I supposed to use to challenge up a spill on the shirt, the plastic wrapper that came with my utensils?? No napkins either.
My husband and I went to The Turning Point in Doylestown for breakfast yesterday. This is the first time we have been there. First of all, I need to comment on the appearance of the place. It is brand new, very nice decor and super-clean! They are practicing social distancing, with every other table occupied, but we still only waited about five minutes to be seated. The server was very prompt and attentive to our every need. The menu was wonderful, we hardly knew what to order. My husband just ordered his favorite eggs, home fries and sausage links. It came with a toasted English muffin. He was very pleased. I ordered one of the four Eggs Benedict selections. It was two perfectly poached eggs, served on toasted ciabatta bread spread with mashed avocado, crispy bacon, thinly sliced tomatoes and a wonderful homemade hollandaise sauce. It also came with a side of home fries. Both of our meals were hot and delicious. We just loved the place and can't wait to go back. I think we will try the lunch menu next week. What a great addition to our town!
