I have traveled a world. Spend half of my life in Europe. So far Santorini Gyro on Bustleton is the best one i have ever tried ever. Today i have finally tried a sweetness of goddess Kadaif dessert and it blew my mind, food is not dry, old or warmed up. It’s fresh it’s always prepared on the spot as we see it happen in front of our eyes. Usually people judge restaurants by entrance appearance but i judged this place by whole look of the restaurant everything is spotless clean.
Congratulations Santorini Gyro see you again and again and again. Happy to have you in my neighborhood!
This place is a hidden gem in the area for sure. The food is mouth watering, the racks of meat on display show you exactly what you're getting, and the decor makes me feel like I took a quick trip to Greece. Give this place a try! Just be sure they're open when you decide to go.
Fantastic atmosphere with even better food. Owners extremely friendly. Place was adorably decorated and spotlessly clean. Greek music, Greek food makes you want to book your next trip to Greece!
Have done take out and eaten in. Food is good and decor authentic. Worth waiting for the preparation. Access is problematic. Best to turn right when leaving.
Santorini Gyro is a quaint establishment just off Street Road on Bustleton Avenue. Although it’s style is closer to a luncheonette, it is refined, and has the air of a more upscale eatery. The decor is simple and elegant. For appetizers, we had the hummus and feta platters. Both were delicious. The humus was rich and creamy, with just the right seasoning. The feta was less sharp than I typically like, but was seasoned well. The pita was fresh, and came out of the oven lightly toasted and glistening with oil. Taking the counterman’s advice, I chose the pork Gyro, which I was told is the more traditional. The Mrs. had the chicken. As I am the bigger eater of the two, I got to try both. Although I personally liked pork a little better, they were both delicious...and filling. Alas, there was no room left for the baklava my wife spied when she first walked in. No matter, that’s just one more reason to return to Santori Gyro. We wish them good luck and a long stay.
