Had the smoked trout appetizer, it was out of this world enough to share with my beautiful dining partners Bethann and Lianne we all had blackened salmon I don't know how that was just as delicious as the trout.I am impressed
Good food, very slow service... We had early reservations for a Sunday dinner and it took 3 hrs from start to finish, mostly waiting for our food. Just drinks, entrees and dessert. We had children with us, so this meal timing delay was difficult. I'm not sure what the issue was, as we have eaten here before with no complaints.
Nice place with pretty well trained staff. The food was good but not worth the price in my opinion. We had two appetizers which were good but not great. We had three different entrees. All were good but nothing was fantastic. We had peach cobler and carrot cake for dessert. Both were very good but I have had better carrot cake. The peice of carrot cake was generous though. So the service was very good but the food was only good, not worth the price. The food presentation was very good. It is a nice place with cloth table cloths and napkins.
The food was good, nothing out of this world. Service was good. I guess I expected more from the almost 5 star reviews. I probable will not go again.
My wife and I have been going to the Brick Tavern for years. Tonight our bartender informed us that the owners were picking up our tab. They wanted to say thanks to one of their regulars. I don’t know what to say other than thank you so sincerely from the bottom of ours hearts. You provide a service to us, a respit to relax, converse and enjoy delicious food. You work relentlessly for us to have a place to enjoy. Then you essentially pay us for coming to your wonderful restaurant. God bless you all. Truly! What a gift of humanity.
