I love this place. It has fantastic Italian dishes and is also a BYOB. Joe the owner and staff are wonderful to experience. Hope to be back soon!

My husband brought me there last night for dinner to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. Charming and cozy w a friendly staff who aim to please. His pork chop was flavorful and juicy. My scallops were seared to perfection. We remarked at how focused and calm the chef was as he worked in a tiny open kitchen creating dish after dish. Reservations are a must. Unfortunately, the space is so small that they can’t allow you to wait inside if your table isn’t ready. On a cold night, be prepared to be dressed warm enough during your wait. But, the wait is worth it.

After passing Italian Cucina what felt like a million times and uttering "we really need to try this place...", we finally ate there last night. The restaurant itself is unassuming but cozy, with just a handful of tables packed in a small, intimate space. Our food was simply outstanding, especially when compared to anything similar in the area. We had the burrata salad (it's huge), chicken cordon bleu, and sacatini with truffle Alfredo sauce. The meat was tender, the sauces flavorful, and the portions ample. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the owner Joe made several trips around the restaurant to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal. Rather than detracting from the experience, the rather tight quarters actually added to the home cooked feel, and we found ourselves chatting off and on with the couple eating across from us, mostly about how good the food was. Needless to say, our only regret is not dining here sooner, and we will be back very very soon. Five stars, Joe, keep it up!

Italian Cucina is a great BYOB in New Hope, PA. It is cozy with about 10 tables overlooking the kitchen. The menu is verbal and may change daily based on market availability and the chef's whim. The night we dined the chef offered 8 different appetizers and 6 different entrees ranging from scallops to Bolognese over homemade pasta. Every dish was excellent... flavorful, hot and as you would expect from someone who really cares about his food.

Joe and Sam are the chefs with Joe being more of the front man and Sam in the kitchen on the night we were there. They are personable and friendly as is the waitress.

Reservations are hard to come by so make them early. There were a number of walk-ins that had to be turned away. Appetizers run around $15 while entrees are $28-$35.
