Salty Pineapple

The Salty Pineapple is one of my favorite casual spots to visit for a delicious bite when we visit New Hope! The team of women who run this spot (Jill and Meg) are amazing— they are kind and treat you like they’ve known you forever, and they are really helpful in navigating the menu which has some flavors on there that may not be familiar to everyone (Spam was a new experience for me!). My favorite things ever are the hei hei over rice topped with fresh vibrant pineapple salsa and the watermelon salad, followed with a smoothie and a dole whip! The hei hei sandwich is also amazing, really everything is so flavorful, fresh, and delightful. You’re missing out if you haven’t stopped in yet!

As an alumni of the Disney College Program, I long for anything that reminds me of the magical time I had living in Walt Disney World. The Salty Pineapple has given that to me. Now anytime I feel homesick for my time in Florida, I just have to take a short drive over to New Hope for some pineapple dole whip at The Salty Pineapple and I’m transported back to waking the paths in Adventureland.

However, The Salty Pineapple is so much more than just amazing nostalgic dole whip! They also serve a variety of shaved ice, slushes, kombucha, salads and other tasty bites.

You also can’t beat the service! There has never been a time that I have visited Ferry Market that I haven’t walked by The Salty Pineapple to see their smiling faces greeting me.
