Jake's Eatery

This was my first time there. Initially, I was worried when I noted the reactions of a number of the parmtrons there when I walked in. They are clearly unused to seeing people who don't look like them there. However, the staff was professional, courteous, helpful and the food was amazing! It was exactly what I had a taste for!

This was my first time there. I was out that way to help a friend. Admittedly, I was a bit uncomfortable when I walked in because it was obvious to me that the customers who were in there are the time "aren't used to people who don't look like them." (I literally HEARD several utensils hit plates when I walked in and some of the looks that were thrown at the person I was with, who looked more like them I did, were not all friendly.) The staff, however was warm, courteous, and sociable. The service was excellent and the food was really good! I wouldn't mind ordering from there again but it would depend on who's there as to whether or not I would eat in.

I love eating at Jake's. The food is always well prepared and delicious. All of the servers are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They have a fully stocked bar on the right side of the restaurant and cozy tables for 4 on the left side. They have muffins, coffee, and a breakfast of the day on most days. Gregg is our GoTo waiter but you can't go wrong eating here.

Have only had breakfast here a handful of times, but every time it has been amazing! My favorite part is talking with the staff. They are all very friendly and kind, even though this place is packed every time I've eaten there. The clientele are a lot of locals, some pretty great, welcoming people. They having pretty great specials and there's usually an outstanding, unique coffee on the menu.

Jake's has a nice atmosphere. Quick service. Enjoyable food. Great draft beer selection. The kid's menu had standard favorites. My daughter really enjoyed the burger. We will definitely get back to Jake's soon!
