McCoole's Red Lion Inn

Painted on the side of the Red Lion building is 'for the working man's wallet'. Then, dinner for two adults plus one child runs the tab over $70. If we didn't have a gift certificate, we most likely wouldn't have gone. Don't get me wrong- the bruschetta was fabulous on greens that tasted of resplendent sunshine. But if one cannot discern this, what's the point? The point is, the working man's wallet now assumes you make 80k/year & are progressively vegetarian. Enjoy - and the cider is $15.

Came for dinner the day before St.Patrick's Day and I was completely happy with the service and the drinks. I ordered the special which was the shepherd's pie and it was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back.

The entree and the desserts were very good. The appetizer came out cold and dry (chicken wings). The beer selection is small but good and the atmosphere was lovely for a Valentines day dinner.

Food was excellent, and atmosphere was really nice however the service was very slow. It took almost 20 minutes to get our sodas after we ordered them. Same for refills, we sat with empty glasses on our tables until we finally asked for refills. It also was not that busy when we were there and saw our server often just chatting with other employees.

Will definitely go back because everything else was really good, just hopefully we will have a different server.

Food was excellent! Ambiance was amazing! Service was superb! Nathan was our server. Two weeks new and he was completely professional! Knew the menu like he worked there for years. I highly recommend this restaurant! Wendy and I will definitely be back!
