We go to Bubbas all the time. The staff is awesome!! The food is amazing. All home made food. Steven the chef is the best! Tried his mac and cheese today with homemade stewed tomatoes. Omg was amazing! Keep up the good work. We love ya guys!!
Everyone at work has been telling me about how excellent this place is, so I finally got around to trying it yesterday. Did not disappoint. Prices were a little high for what I received, but the food was good. My favorite item is french onion soup and that's all everyone talked about so I went in with really high expectations. It wasn't bad, however it seemed like the bread piece was just a slice of plain white bread? Other than that it had a ton of cheese and excellent flavor. Will definitely return!
Was there last night with my wife sitting at bar.... A lady with her "service" dog came in.... She asked to be seated Chad the manager said let's go in the back room where there is less noise and chaos.... The lady was offended by this... I thought it was handled properly... He was also looking out for the other customers... There was a lot of little kids and elderly there as well.... Do not judge this place by her review... Btw no properly trained service dog would be jumping on people and acting the way it was... She even called the manager racist which is totally ludicrous.... I don't know anybody there personally actually only second time there and it was a great experience... Food, service and staff was great....
First time ever at this old school hamburger bar... We walked in as a small group of 7 people for a Sunday lunch ... with no reservations. Quickly seated and we were well served.
Food was excellent. You have to try the sweet potato fries. Double yum. If you find any better than these, please let me know.
Loses one star for h/c access limitations. Quite a few steps up... even from the designated h/c parking spaces.
We are making plans to return to this logcabinesque friendly place.
Bubba's is a charming throwback to a less corporate time. A Roadhouse tavern with paneling and faux log cabin interior offered well prepared food and pleasant service. Service was not brisk, so be willing to spend some time. The food and retro comfort will reward you. The French Onion soup was billed as the house specialty and was equal to the billing. I am fussy about my French Onion soup. This one was a tad too salty and the bread was a little off, but a definite 4.5. The Cobb salad was a surprise. It was a perfectly grilled sliced chicken breast served on very fresh field greens with ample blue cheese crumbles, freshly cooked bacon and a tasty balsamic vinaigrette. I have driven by this place for years thinking, "I should stop there some day." My only regret is I did not do so sooner.
