Bowman's Tavern

First time to this establishment. Service was amazing, and the food was great! They had a musician playing when we were there, Jason. He was very good, good music and not over powering. I would recommend this place!!

So I live a mile away from Bowman's and consider myself very lucky. Reminds me of the bar in Cheers. Lots of locals. Good drink and great food. It's quite a destination spot. The free valet parking is a real plus. You can't go wrong here. Live, piano and guitar based singing adds to the atmosphere.

We went for Sunday brunch. The meals were good but I absolutely loved the calamari appetizer. I also love the atmosphere and the live music. Today was a wonderful piano player who was still playing when we left....3 hours later!

This is my favorite place for more than one reason. I have met my fiancé and soon to be bride here. The food and ambience is always fantastic. The place seems meticulously clean and I have never had problems with a server. The prices are pretty reasonable for where it is and the drinks are excellent. The only downside is the entertainment and sometimes a bunch of drunk people that think they can sing but cannot.

Only went here once, but from the experience it quickly became one of our favorite dining spots. Excellent food and service and a great atmosphere. Going back soon for our anniversary.
Update: Visited Bowman's again - for our anniversary - and it was every bit as good as the first time we ate there. Had the prime rib and it was delicious! Ordered an end cut done medium well and that's exactly how I got it. Virtually melted in my mouth it was that good; in fact, best prime rib that I can ever remember having and I'm in my 60's and have eaten lots of prime rib in my lifetime. We like eating in the bar area and come for the happy hour "6 until 6." When it comes to libations, try the French Gimlet as it is one to remember. Man, this place is on the top of our list when it comes to Delaware River/Bucks County area dining. If money is overly a concern for you, this isn't your place. But if you want excellent food, atmosphere, and service, and a good value, then Bowman's is it.
