Denny's

Had 2 senior meals. Value was excellent. Food great. Friendly, efficient wait.

The food was good once they cooked it right and reheated it. I waited quite a while for a good steak. I ordered it well, but it arrived rare. Everything arrived at different times so food was cold and needed reheated. The manager is odd, solved the problem by creating another problem.. overall he did okay. There were so many issues to fix he ended up nix'ing the bill, so that means I can't really complain if it was free I guess. The waitress was kind and worked diligently, but the cook should take more pride in his work.

You may not think of Denny's as a steakhouse, but I always order Steak and it's always tender, juicy and done just right (medium rare). That's what's important to me. Wear a longsleeve shirt because the AC can get chilly. Service can vary but if you order your meals the first time the waitress comes to your table (to get your beverage order) you'll get 'em quicker (same as any restaurant, really)

I thought I was going to get great food and service because there were maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. So, it wasn't busy at all. That being said, it took much longer than expected to get our food. My mom and grandma's food was only room temperature at best. And I paid $4 extra for steak on my Cobb salad, which was more so pieces of fat and gristle. Other times I've been here were busier but the food was so much better. I don't like giving bad reviews but I was really disappointed.

Love their breakfast so much. Super fast service and not a long wait time. Waitresses are on point and get straight down to business of taking your order and getting it to you. They bring timely refills and are very professional. Food always hits the spot. I wish I lived closer to enjoy it more often.
