State college

College Buffet

Address: 1631 N Atherton St, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“Great food and great service. The best time to visit is around 4PM when they start to unveil dinner only items. There are very few people at the restaurant at that time, so you'll have the perfect opportunity to get freshly prepared dishes at the buffet.”

CC Peppers

Address: 1625 N Atherton St, State College, PA 16803, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Authentic sub was tasty. Very consistent over the many years they've been around. Kind of pricey though for a sub on a glorified hot dog bun and a soda @ almost $10. The place is pretty scruffy though.”

Carvers Deli & Barbecue

Address: 1633 N Atherton St, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“The sandwiches are always good and the service is always fast and friendly.”

Sheetz #635

Address: 223 Colonnade Blvd, State College, PA 16803, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“The place is great except I paid an extra dollar on my nachos for pulled pork. Only got 3 bites of pork. If you're gonna charge a dollar it should have more than just a nibble.”

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Address: 215 Colonnade Blvd, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“So I've always loved Cracker Barrel as a whole, so I do speak from a lifetime of adoration, but all of the people here are an absolute delight. Not to mention that the food here has always been comforting. If a mistake is made, the staff is quick to rectify the situation. Additionally, they have a wife selection of knick-knacks in their gift shop that make for some pretty incredible gifts for family members. All in all, a great place to gather and enjoy yourself with family and/or friends ).”

Texas Roadhouse

Address: 1885 Waddle Rd, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“This was a very livily place and my party members all loves the food. I got the chicken tinder salad and was not disappointed. It was a massive salad that had great texture and taste. My fellow dinners ate a steak and beef tips. Both were reported as delightful. Well worth your money.”

Outback Steakhouse

Address: 1905 Waddle Rd, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“My only experience is the bar. It was more than slow. The food took awhile. The beer was cold and the hot pickles were great. I tried again. 30 mins and counting on a call ahead salad. Said 15 minutes. 45 is ridiculous”

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Address: 1945 Waddle Rd, State College, PA 16803, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“We went to visit Penn cave and visited Olive Garden. It is a very cosy and beautiful place. Food is tasty and delicious. They accommodated my need for gluten free and dairy free dishes. Awesome ambience. We ordered margarita and it was tasty. I would highly recommend this place.”

The Field Burger & Tap

Address: 1 Country Club Ln, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“I've been here a half dozen times; What keeps me coming back is the great food. What has really put me off has been the wait for our food and service. This past time we had a 30 min wait time to be seated; no problem, we sat at the bar. It took a while to be served at the bar. Once we got seated our server and staff were great and friendly, however was over an hour for our food to come. A little frustrating. This has been the third time I've waited an hour or over. Go for the food and view if you have time.”

Carnegie Inn & Spa, An Ascend Hotel Collection Member

Address: 100 Cricklewood Dr, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“Love the gardens! The rooms are spacious n comfortable. Great location n wonderful staff. The restaurant is fabulous . We were so disappointed that it was closed for renovations! Have to wait until next year to enjoy !”

American Ale House

Address: 821 Cricklewood Dr, State College, PA 16803, USA

Restaurant

“The food is great, the seafood specialties are even better, the fresh baked bread is the best. Their beer selection is decent, there's often life music at the piano bar, and we've generally gotten above average service here. It's a little on the pricier end, but absolutely worth it for a special occasion. Do take care to make sure you go when the full menu is available-- later at night the menu is limited and we found the good a bit underwhelming then.”
