Just love it! The best spot in Happy valley you can have lunch at. They have tons of options. Just be careful they are very crowded during rush hours and may be lacking some of the ingredients like avocado. You might also want to keep an eye for sauces too. They are very generous and sometimes too generous :).

The food is soooo good and fresh. 4 stars because I feel like they never give a lot of protein regardless if you get 1 scoop or 1.5. They also never have covers/lids or to-go bags. Other than that, money well spent!

The food is great, and you can feel good about eating it. The flavor combinations on all the rice bowls I've tried were honestly phenomenal. The best part is, 2 kids eat free with each adult entree purchased. Roots is our new go to spot for a quick dinner for the family.

Healthy choice in a good location on Beaver Avenue in the midst of student apartment buildings. It's counter service where you can order pre-set bowls or construct your own. I went with jefe and it was a good Mexican-inspired choice. There's a lot of seating and it looked clean. There's water if you want to refill your own bottle.

the food was really great, fresh, delicious, but simple. it was not a lot of money considering the freshness of the veggies and the variety, oh the great variety of things!, plus with it being in the middle of downtown state college, it is very decent. the staff were very helpful and great customer service! will definitely be back!!!
