Great sushi and tempura and a reasonable price. Table service was a little slow the Sushi chef was pretty fast. The worst thing was the tempura appetizer arrived seconds before the main course was served. My wife got a Sashimi Bento box and I got the Sushi Bento Box. Both meal had fairly large portions and we'll prepared.
Service was good. They were offering a seafood boil. Went there for sushi. The sushi was relatively bland and not as good as other places. Ordered the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer and I don’t recall it having hot sauce on it before but it was unnecessary and I couldn’t taste the sashimi. Ordered eel avocado roll, spicy tuna roll, and a spider roll. All were lacking in flavor.
Food was GREAT! Salmon hibachi dinner is great. But the server was TERRIBLE! When we walked in, he motioned us towards a table like we were a herd of cattle. His facial expression was clear, he did not want us to be there. No eye contact, no hello and just an expression of disgust. Our initial impression was proved right by his behavior later. He never came to our table to check on us. Never replenished water, never cleared plates that we were done with. We saw him laughing with another employee for the rest of our meal and playing with his cell phone. The plate had lots of oily finger prints on the rim. The fried rice was lukewarm. For $40 we spent there, we would have gotten much better care and food at a Chick-Fil-A or Olive Garden. The manager of the restaurant, a very nice lady, was apologetic and said she will take care of the issue when I complained.
Ordered from them for the first time last night and I have zero regrets! Crafted well, very presentable, & flavorful...I recommend the Futo Maki. But overall
so far so good! We'll see how my next couple of visits go & will update.
