Jimmy's BBQ

Almost perfect. Loved the smell of smoke as you walked in the door. The brisket was a tad dry because it was so lean, must have been from the flat. I personally prefer the extra fatty point, but the flavor profile was smokey with a hint of spicy.

All three sauces were very good and they spanned the range from spicy, to bold, to vinegary. That was a thoughtful touch to provide that variety.

The ribs were excellent. A nice flavorful almost bark on the outside, juicy on the inside. And they had that competition quality bite to them. You could easily bite right through but they did not just fall oth the bone. Delicous. And the half rack was huge. More than enough for two.

Mac and cheese was good but not earth shattering, but I did very much enjoy the smoked beans.. Wonderful flavor and richness.

Definitely a repeat next time I am in town...

Not much BBQ to choose from in the area and their speed and quality reflect it. Pulled pork sandwich was dry and took a good 20 minutes to receive, while it wasn't very busy. Lunchmate enjoyed his order of ribs, bossman enjoyed whatever he got well enough to go back a few days later. He has since struck it from his list, again due to extremely slow service for mediocre food.

Originally from Florida I'm often challenged to find good barbecue here in the area. My buddy turned me on to Jimmy's today I had the brisket and it was every bit of amazing. I have found my new barbecue home. I cannot wait to try everything on the menu.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was the best bbq I've had in a long time. Awesome.

We love eating here. Everything on their menu is good. Our favorites are the brisket and the ribs (lots of other peoples favorites too). The employees are always attentive and helpful. Its no frills (as it should be) and the people and the service are great.
