Antonia's Pizzeria

I’m bias towards what type of pizza I like. I prefer good pizza…if you like good, nay, great pizza go to Antonia’s. Make sure you get there early because this is hands down the best pizza in kennett square and they sell out fast! Which lets you know everything is fresh and made daily. You can taste it in the pizza. Firm crust, no oil drip and flavors that jump off the pie. Go get it!

I am always stingy with my star ratings because I do not like to waste each of their star value, but Antonia’s Pizzeria gets five stars, because, why not. They are a local young family operation that I perceive operates with mindfulness and kindness. Something that I think is lacking in many businesses.

With that said, I really like their pizza. The crust not too thick and not too thin is crispy out of the oven. I like how my teeth sink into the crust with a soft crisp sound you can hear inside your skull and can be heard by someone next to you. It is a delightful crisp sound. But that is not all, this delightful pizza crust is topped with toppings that are bursting with umami. So satisfying. So comforting. Reminds me of the homemade pizza I had in a friends and family gathering in Coriano Italy.

They also have planted some herbs for fresh pickings! I helped myself to some to add to my pizza. Sweet comfort food.

This is the best pizza I've ever had. And I have had a lot of pizza..... its the best small business pizza shop with an amazing atmosphere. You have to try!!!!

Great food and great customer service. I called just after 5pm on Friday and the woman who answered the phone kindly informed me that they were already sold out for the day (I think they're still in a soft-opening phase), but that they had slices left. This was even better because my husband and I got to try 3 different types! The pepperoni pizza is LEGIT and the sausage special pizza is delicious too. Can't wait to go back. Glad this place has opened up in the area!

Antonia’s is going to be a new staple in our house and should be in yours as well!

We ordered a half pepperoni square pie and it was incredible. I love the little slices of pepperoni and the cheese that they finish the pizzas with after they come out of the oven.

The crust is amazing. It’s not overly doughy in the way a lot of square/Sicilian pies can be, but still dense enough to give you all of the flavors of their homemade dough. And I love the charring from the oven - no burnt flavors whatsoever and a perfect crunch and crisp to it.

More than just the dough though, the sauce and cheese have so much flavor that when you put it all together you get the best pizza in Kennett Square, bar none.

Can’t wait to taste my way through the rest of their pizza menu.
