Teen's Place

I had the pleasure of having an early dinner with my friend. We were warmly greeted, seated and placed our order. While the food took a few moments, we had cornbread and hush puppies to munch on. Plus there is no way you can expect food made to order very quickly.
When the food came to the table… oh my goodness it was hot, fresh and sooo tasty. I had the brisket and fried catfish with 3 sides. There was NOTHING that I did not like. My friend had ribs, whitings and 3 sides.. he was loving his food. The food was delicious and I left more than satisfied. The food and friendly waitress touched the soul. ❤️
We will be back!!

Everything was amazing here. Our server, Tammy was welcoming and friendly. We were a large group of 11 and everyone really enjoyed the meal. They started us of with delicious hush puppies that melted in your mouth and followed that up with the tastiest, moist cornbread. I had the brisket with potato salad and Mac and cheese. My friends had different dishes: ribs, chicken sandwiches and pulled pork and we all loved everything. The portions were big and everyone left full.

At the end of the meal, Teen came out and the kids fresh cookies, which made their day. I was here for a visit but I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town and my friends that I was visiting are already planning their next visit. This was one of the highlights of my trip!

The food is delicious! We love the ckn platter & the fried fish! The Mac & cheese is outstanding, along with all the other sides, the baked beans have turkey kielbasa w/ a lil sweet/spicy flavor. We also love the cornbread! Nice environment for a family meal, girls or guys nite out. We dine in & get take☺️😋Yes it’s that good! Very friendly environment. We are regulars now‼️Congratulations🙌🏽‼️

I love Teens Place! Food is so good and filling. I had the Teen's Signature Chicken Sandwich with Mac and Cheese and Hawaiian baked beans. The Teen's signature chicken sandwich beats Popeye's and Chic Fil A by a mile. So crispy and tender with that Teen's secret sauce! The cornbread is sweet and a bit savory served in a small skillet. The ladies were very personable and it was fun talking with them. I have been here before and I'll be back again. Keep up the good work ladies!

Finally Soul Food comes to Oxford and of course my coworkers and I want to support local small business. My director and assistant director did come here before. Director got a Fried Fish Platter and enjoyed it. Assistant director got BBQ Chicken Platter and was disappointed esp by the canned green beans as a side. So director, assistant director, myself and our administrative assistant decide to go for lunch at 12:30 one day and found it odd that they don't open for lunch until 2pm. So 3 out of the 4 of us came another day. Now their menu is already limited, which is fine but the Friday we came it was even more limited bc it was First Friday in town. Plus they only offered 2 drink options; sweet tea and fruit drink. I got Pulled Pork sandwhich with side of Mac n Cheese and side of Seafood Salad. The other ladies got Chicken Sandwiches. The peice of chicken breast was big and the overall platters' presentations were nice. We both like the Seafood Salad Sides. I am used to box Mac n Cheese so the Mac n Cheese for me was edible. My Pulled Pork was tender and good. The assistant director again was disappointed by the bland chicken and flour taste in Mac n Cheese. She told me that I need to go to a real soul food place and sadly she felt this was not it. Price was a little high for me; little over $16 for my lunch platter. The place was small but nice decor with a little stage I'm guessing for entertainment. The front of the store looked like a store front area and when we left there were other small businesses selling cookies and candles which was very cool.
