Taste Vegan by Sand Castle Winery

I'm not a vegan, and I loved this place! I was amazed at how much the vegan "meat" and "cheese" tasted like the real thing!!

The chicken bbw I think it was called, amazing. It basically chicken and waffles. It was a quiet night and our server was super nice. A little chilly in the dining room but doable. They were out of one or two things, that’s the only reason for 4 stars. Would return!

Just tried the impossible cheeseburger there and it exceeds the hype! Very well done! Brought my skeptical meateaters and he reluctantly even had to admit this burger is amazing! Served with kettle style chips, that we wished were fries... hint hint...but otherwise excellent!

The food was pretty good, but I don't think it was worth it. The portions we're quite small with the prices high. We ordered the "bottomless" popcorn for $3, but it was just a small bowl of popcorn with no refills. There is another vegan restaurant in the area that has much more reasonable prices and still delicious food. The service was ok, but slow given that we were the only two people in the whole restaurant. However, the plating did look very appealing.

This place is amazing - as a vegan, I am not used to having an entire menu be dedicated to vegan options. Not only is Taste 100% plant based vegan, the food is incredible. I had the crab cakes and my girlfriend had the impossible burger - both far exceeded our expectations. One thing that I wanted to mention is that the portions were actually quite sufficient for the very reasonable prices - super impressed! Really nice atmosphere and great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back!
