Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Reasonably priced cocktails and beer. Nice patio.Enjoying my visit! The history of the place is fun and interesting. Would recommend!
Since opening last May, they have really figured it out. The service is excellent and the kitchen really puts out some good food. Their pizzas are probably the best in the area (yes, better than the self described pizza shops). Bi strongly recommend stopping in for dinner and some drinks.
Becoming a local favorite for happy hour. The happy hour appetizers are good especially the chicken wings. A very good selection of craft beers. They are not discounted for happy hour but the prices are reasonable. Good atmosphere.
Stayed at the Inn for a birthday weekend with my wife, and we had high expectations.
...but we weren't expecting to be blown away.
The rooms are very nice. Much nicer than any standard inn I've ever stayed in.
The beds are comfortable clean, and the sheets are better than any chain hotel. The bathroom is modern and nice, and the place was surprisingly quiet just a floor away from a dining room.
A complimentary 10% off on dining at the restaurant/bar downstairs was a pleasant surprise when we checked in... and thankfully we had it.
The food was *fantastic!* -- we'd only planned to have one meal in the restaurant, but we ended up going back a number of times during the weekend to try different things. The pecan, wood-smoked wings and the gourmet pizza at the bar after we checked-in were fantastic and I thought it was the highlight... until the next night when we had a formal dinner in the dining room (try the hanger steak!)
The staff was great. They seemed a little new to the hotel business, and were clearly pulling double-duty on both front of house staff and hotel help. But what they lacked in experience, they more than made up for in their eagerness to please. Everyone working there clearly has a great love of the restaurant, which in the service industry is VERY rare.
We went expecting a quiet weekend in Amish country with a little antiquing and a nice dinner to cap it off.
We found a new tradition. My wife and I were already planning our return trip before we even checked-out on Sunday.
Amazing food and reasonable prices for the quality. We had the Mushroom & Cheese Steak Pizza and Wings. Both were outstanding. Solid happy hour deals as well. The owner, Michael, took time to talk to all of the guests and gave us some cool historical insight on the property. It was our first visit and we will be returning soon.
