Should 3.5 but can't. I hadn't been there in years but decided to take my girlfriend there for her birthday. Still a good value, but her steak came in well done when she ordered medium. For a steak and seafood place this should never happen. They were nice and comped us desserts.
Food was excellent. I was impressed by the waiter Dave. He spoke to us like he was a good friend. Made us feel welcome. Next time I'm in the area I will be back.
After debating where to take my niece in the KOP area for her Master’s degree dinner, we decided on Creed’s. I don’t think I’ve been there in 20 years. They made the dinner perfect! The staff was excellent, food perfect, and they went out of their way to congratulate my niece on her accomplishment. We all left big fans and we will definitely be back and spreading the good word.
Great place, wonderful meal in a classic setting! Warm greeting by the hostess. Had cocktails in the bar, (very cozy!) where we were greeted by the owner, Jim. Very friendly. The bar staff prepared our drived as ordered and were quite friendly as well. My husband and I had a lovely dinner in the main dining room. Our steaks were perfectly prepared and delicious! I'd recommend main dining room for a perfect special date night; bar area for casual drinks and appetizers. We will definitely be regulars!
Fine dining with a beautiful setting, old-school and classy decor- very well maintained. My boyfriend reserved a spot for us and we were seated in the dining room (as opposed to the more social and open bar room). Our waiter was attentive and graciously answered our questions without judgment. A simple two-page menu with a separate menu for drinks. We ordered the Chef's Special San Francisco Style Cioppino paired with Chardonnay wine- it was delectable.
This is a lovely spot for a fine dining experience with an emphasis on fresh seafood + wine.
