The Social

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night around 6:30. The bar was crowded and loud but we were seated in the dining room right away where the noise level was much lower. We shared a plate of wings wrapped in goat cheese and bacon which were excellent. For dinner we had a Cajun pasta dish with crawdads and a jambalaya noodle bowl both were very tasty with generous portions which made for doggy bags for both of us. The menu had a good variety of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. We will be back again.

We visited the restaurant prior to a musical performance at West Chester University with a group of 12. Our reservations went well and our server, Gabby was excellent, as was the food. We shared several menu items and not a single one of us was disappointed in any of them. All were absolutely delicious, from crab cakes, scallops, wings, cheesesteak sandwiches, gumbo, and on and on...all phenomenal. Planning our next trip before we left the restaurant, it was that good.

One of the best restaurants in the Philly suburbs. Best, most authentic southern food in the area. Went with a group and our waitress Allie handled it amazingly. She was so helpful and knowledgeable; she really made our visit. Amazing cocktail selection, amazing food, amazing staff. Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as you can.

Wow...I am left speechless after the experience I had at The Social. Me and the hubby started off with drinks at the bar. The bartenders were exceptional. Drinks were amazing, and their attentiveness was unmatched. This alone makes us want to return! Once we moved to a table, we ordered our food right away since Todd, the bartender, gave us a preview of the menu. He really went above and beyond! Hubby got the meatloaf, and I got the crab cake. TDF!!! The food came out lightning quick and the quality was incredible. We were told that Chef Funk has been around for years, and boy does it show. We would have stayed longer, but it got a little too loud once the music started. If I could give 10 out of 10, I would! We will be back soon!

All their food is great. The old favorites, as well as the brunch and seasonal specials. They have amazing Pot Roast fries which are large enough to share with 3-4 people. The chicken and waffles is great! They also have signature drinks and good beer selection. They have a great outdoor area (in season) which features music acts. The staff are friendly and fast.
