We had a fantastic experience at Greystone! It was like they have been open for months. Great service, great martini, great oysters. I highly recommend the tuna poke bowl as well! This is truly a one-of-a-kind restaurant in West Chester as we felt like we were in a beach town somewhere down south.

We were excited to check out a new oyster place in the Borough. They have some kinks to work out, for sure. It’s very nicely decorated inside, but the prices do not match the quality I was expecting. My husband and daughter ordered the raw oysters, which should be served on ice, were instead served in a pile of melted ice water. The food runner had trouble serving the platter with so much water in the large serving plate. We should have sent them back due to food safety. My husband said the cocktail sauce tasted like ketchup. I ordered fried oysters, which were served on the half shell and were the size of a dime. When I inquired if this was correct, they said yes, these were fried oysters. In reality, they were broiled (grilled) with Parmesan, which also was on the menu, just not what I ordered. So after a $180 bill, not including tip, we ended up ordering pizza from New Havens right across the street. I would hope these issues can be worked out. Might suggest the manager walking around checking on food quality and customer experience, especially in your first few weeks.

Okay, it’s your first week but you need some work. Your Clam Chowder had no clams. You should manually put some in, because your sauce is actually good. But it was just potato’s and you charge $11 (Pietros Lobster Bisque is $8).

Next, your cocktail sauce isn’t good. You have pretty good oysters, but come on, the cocktail sauce is key and you got the cheap grade cocktail sauce?

I’ll check back in a month or so. But we were not impressed. Had to leave.

The atmosphere is good. We like the lighting, but we expected more from the basic seafood staple dishes.

Absolutely LOVED Greystone. Truly cannot say one bad thing about this restaurant!

We started with the lobster bisque, tried all the varieties of the oysters-of course and finished with the crab ravioli. I also had a bite of the lobster roll that my girlfriend ordered and will be getting at my next visit.

Will be back soon!! So exciting for West Chester community.

Loved Greystone!!! The food was so fresh and delicious. Haven’t had seafood like this in a long time. Really great service and experience. Great addition to West Chester. Would 100% recommend!
