Great empanadas and tacos. Friendly and fast. Coming back soon!
These are some of the best tacos in West Chester. I ordered the steak tacos. Service is fast, food excellent.
I love this place enough to review it. ????
Me and my boyfriend checked this place out for the first time today and we are very happy to live just around the corner from this place because the food is amazing!! Highly recommend stopping by and trying some of their food because we certainly loved it! They provided us complementary chips and guac (which is also delicious). We got the food to-go and only waited about 10min for the food to be freshly prepared and wrapped up for us. Will definitely be returning!
Opened on 9/16 coinciding with Mexican Independence Day in the establishment that used to be Tlaxkali. I've been to this restaurant three times now. I've had carne asada fries, tacos, and Huevos Rancheros. All are good. Tlaxkali may have had a bit of a leg up on the carne asada fries but they were almost twice as expensive and often inconsistent.
I hope the owner of this restaurant takes control of their web presence as right now it's somewhat hard to find their website and there is no online ordering and inconsistent information across platforms. I added a bunch of details to help for them(updated photo, actual business website, hours, phone #).
I am guessing their strategy is volume based on prices. Given they have taco Tuesday with beef at a dollar and others slightly more and their very reasonable prices hopefully they learn the art of upselling guac and sides such as fries on phone orders instead of asking "is that everything"? I live within close walking distance and I really want to see this establishment be successful! I think the ultimate demise of Tlaxkali was mismanagement of food costs and difficulty with staffing. Once your food and hours of operation start being inconsistent you will lose your customer base. Then again, I know how tough the restaurant business is which is why it's so important for Imperio Maya to get the word out quickly online.
Overall the food is very good and the prices are very competitive.
Best of luck Imperio Maya!
