Gio's BBQ

South Florida native and truck driver. Been to a lot of BBQ places around the country and only second time here. First time was a year ago and finally made it back to Gio's. The food is awesome. Just like the first time I had it. Amazing job.

Third time visiting Gino's. First and second visits were back in May. Today it was too close to breakfast but I stopped in for lunch anyway. The pulled pork platter is generously piled with tasty pork, the slightly spicy sauce is served on the side, and the baked beans are phenomenal. These beans are multiple shapes and sizes, and they cook up well together. Gino's is a mandatory stop whenever I'm in the area!

Guys! You have to go here and get you some BBQ! I ordered the BBQ platter with chili Mac and cheese and baked beans! I can’t describe how good it was. The price was reasonable as well. Pretty normal really but you get some really good food! The staff don’t play around either. They take your order make your food and move on to the next person. I waited maybe 5 minutes and my food was ready. The ONLY negative thing I can say is I wished they had more options for sides. There was no veggies that I saw but I’m defiantly not. Complaining.

I live in Mississippi and travel all over the US and have spent a lot of time in Texas. Let's say I know good BBQ! I was totally amazed by the quality of the product this place produces. No one thinks of BBQ when speaking of Pennsylvania! This place is on point! Even the sides are spectacular! I would drive a long ways to eat here! Do yourself a favor and get some!

Gios was delightful. The food was tasty, well-portioned and reasonably priced. The decor in the restaurant portion was charming. There is a convenience store on the other end and you can gas up outside. All was clean and staff was polite.
