Russell's Restaurant

Yummy food and good service. We almost always eat there at least once when were vacation at the lake. This time I had the pulled pork sandwich and deep fried corn on the cob- delicious.

Food was excellent, portion sizes were very filling and the prices were definitely reasonable. Great little middle of nowhere bbq joint. Will definitely be returning!

Ate here on vacation this week and Russell's has some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten; And I have eaten BBQ from coast to coast. Great variety on the menu, including kids selections. More than fairly priced. Pulled pork was extremely tender with the perfect mix of soft and crisp pieces. Rib meat came clean off the bone. Steak was smoked and juicy. Fresh cut fries were fried at the perfect temp with a nice outer skin and tender inside. Not super greasy. Baked potato was authentically baked. Salad greens were cold, crisp, and fresh. Russell's sauces were on point. Only restaurant on the trip I didn't need a take out box. If you're in the area, you don't want to miss this one. Bring your friends. They'll thank you later. Floor layout is accommodating for both small and large groups. Can't wait to go back!

First time there under the new "smoked meats" venue. Atmosphere is plain, nothing fancy and you can see they are working little by little on the interior.
Now for the food. Great idea, great menu!
Nothing fancy just good food at fair prices. Two comments. Parking is at a minimum with heavy customer draw(lot improvement needed) and as for the food, my only comment would be the beef was chewy! Now in fairness, it was late in the day and as cooked beef cools it has a tendency to toughen. Would I go back, Absolutely!
If your heading to the Pymatunning Spillway, be sure and stop. You won't regret it.
