Wertzville Diner

Came for brunch with my wife, daughter, and my Mom. Our waitress, Hannah, was amazingly efficient and friendly. We ordered three House Specials and one Philly burger. All were excellent. Plump and tasty sausages, hearty french toast and pancakes. Eggs and home fries were very tasty. Hannah kept the coffee flowing and she got us our food quickly. I'll be coming back again with family. Definitely a great experience. Price was also quite reasonable.

Visited for late breakfast with my son who likes to try new diners (as I do as well). Upon entering and standing at the counter waiting for a table, several staff walked by including two men who seemed to be the managers. Nobody even acknowledged that we were present, no hello, nothing. Eventually we get a booth. Atmosphere was like what it is, the reformatted Hoss. Nothing on the walls, no decoration, blank space. Definitely Needs some TLC. Waitress was very nice and helpful but clearly understaffed and difficult to get her attention. Coffee served but had to wait for someone else to bring cream, etc. Breakfast mediocre. Pancakes not fresh, syrup in disposable plastic containers, sausage with amazingly no flavor (very bland), eggs over-easy were done very well. Price was reasonable and location convenient. Newish restaurant that needs to up its game before we’ll try it again.

Food was well portioned, hot and tasty. Even though it wasn’t anything special, except for the salad NOW that was fresh. I would recommend this place over fast food anytime. I would recommend this place friends and family because you definitely get your money worth.
