Very flavorful food and plentiful portions! Chicken was very good. Got the Chicken Biryani..It was amazing.

I do however have to mention the slivers and pieces of splintered chicken bones mixed throughout my basmati rice. I pulled 6 pieces of sharp chicken bone from my mouthfuls of rice I am glad I chew my food thoroughly before swallowing. Could of ended badly. Which is the only reason for my 3 stars..everything else was wonderful to the service and decor.

Maybe not chopping the chicken bones or parts into pieces would prevent that from happening. Just a suggestion.

Very clean restaurant and friendly service
The Couscous tasted great.. Exactly how we make it at home
I called in ten minutes in advance and my food was ready when I walked in
I recommend everyone to come in

The food here is amazing! It's the best quality authentic Moroccan food I've had. It's a great place to socialize and enjoy something different from the usual dining experience in Mechanicsburg. I had a lamb dish and the lamb was so tender. The spices were just right, not overwhelming. There are also other options aside from the Moroccan dishes. It seems it's all made fresh and so delicious. They know what they're doing!

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. To be sure, it is a different cultural experience - if you are expecting fast food American style...it is not that. But for those who are impatient, there is a bell at the front counter that you can ring for service (if you feel the need)! The food was fresh, authentic, generous, quite tasty, and reasonably priced. Order the mint tea and relax! The food was also nicely presented - more than one would expect from a "mom and pop" place. Just go and enjoy - you will not be disappointed.

We were a party of four dining at Walima Moroccan Cuisine this evening. It's a no-frills, essentially mom and pop place and, after only 3 weeks, maybe still has a few kinks to work out. But the food that we had, and we each had a different entree (all shared, of course), was plentiful, amazing, and obviously made to order. We also had mint green tea, coffee, and Moroccan cookies. Everything was delicious, and the bill was very reasonable. I'm anxious to go back and try additional menu items.
