Dave’s Hot Chicken

Ordered the "Extra Hot" meal with a slider and a tender, plus fries and a drink. A bit on the pricy side, but good - although my girlfriend ended up with a two tender meal but made "Mild." Also I appreciated the sauce and pickles - a nice touch.

Service was quick and the restaurant was clean, with several employees coming out to clean while we enjoyed our meal. The dining room is a bit small, but there is a drive-thru and the place is open late, so I would take it home next time. I took my leftovers home and it didn't make much of a difference heating them up in the microwave.

While I'd come back solo, I'm not sure my girlfriend would ever need to return, as the menu is limited for someone who does not like spicy food.

It was decently busy when we went in around 6:30/7pm, lot of people dining in. Food came out pretty fast. I ordered a mild tender + slider, with fries. Price is pretty good for the quantity of food you get. I liked the tender much better than the sandwich, you can taste the flavor and spice more.. not sure if it’s the breading that masks the taste on the sandwich or not. I did like the dipping sauce it came with. Fries are decent and we did also order an Oreo milkshake, it was a little too runny.. it melted pretty quick after we got it and taste like the basic chocolate milkshake with smashed up Oreos on top

The place overall is a cool little spot. We were greeted before we got to the door and the same employee went out of their way the entire visit. The wife and I each got the double slider meal. Don't do that. They aren't typical sliders and you will end up taking one one. Plus it makes the meal way more expensive than necessary. I got the hot which for me was a mistake. Not because it was too hot (it had a good kick) but because it is really salty from the seasoning. I'd likely get less spicy in future so there is less seasoning. The fries are good. We also tried the Mac and cheese but it's more like the blue box. The slaw is good. Overall a good visit and we would return.

Came to Daves Hot Chicken for the first time today, and while the parking lot was full, the wait was not as long as we thought! There were parking attendants to assist you in finding a spot, or there were 2 lines for the drive through. They were speedy in taking our order (tip: if you download the app you get a free drink!) and it took about 15-20 minutes to receive our order. They have buzzers for when your food is ready and offer extra sauces and condiments at your request. Dining space was full as the restaurant was extremely crowded, but even with the crowds our food was relatively quick (and correct!). As for the taste, the sliders were delicious! Don’t be fooled by the word slider, and they have one of the largest chicken tenders on it that i have ever seen. One was definitely enough for me! The extra pickles and sauce were great, as well as the seasoned fries. I am excited to bring some friends here to try it out when they visit!
