Fiddler's on the Green at Mayapple

We had 5:30 dinner reservations on Saturday -- good thing since the place filled up quickly. Our meals were good with the following exceptions:
Our entrees arrived immediately after salads and appetizers. The table was overcrowded and the entrees started to get cold since we had no time to finish the food we had.

The prime rib was tough and overcooked. At our request, it was replaced by a strip steak which too lacked much to be desired in quality and preparation.

My crab cake and clams were excellent. The soup and salad good. There is room for improvement in the overall experience. We will likely give them another try in the event this was an anomaly.

Three of fined and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was good. This was our second visit and I am impressed. Large menu.

Very good food! Very attentive wait staff nice ambiance with nice views overlooking the course. Had the Pandora's box which was excellent also a perfectly done rare ribeye with loaded baked potato and asparagus what a wonderful meal! Highly recommended

Fiddler's is a nice restaurant with a cool atmosphere. It's quite expensive so you would hope that whatever you are getting is fresh and exciting. I had asked for a side salad with only lettuce and salad dressing with croutons. An option to have only that was romaine lettuce. I was brought out a plate of romaine that was sub par quality (in the picture below) I asked for a replacement and the waitress was very nice about it (she was great in general which is why I rated this review high). My steak was delicious and I highly recommend. My review is here to make sure you do not put up with bad quality especially when your meal is around 40 dollars. The pictures speak for themselves. You decide. Overall, I believe I will return at some point.

I had the most delicious broiled crab cake at Fiddlers today. There was very little filler and a large portion of the sweetest crab.
Remodeling is taking place. The new circular style booths are a nice addition.
