El Sol Mexican Restaurant

Good quesadilla for appetizer. No drink refills offered. We came from the farm show working with horses and felt they really didn't want to seat us. Offered a table in two hours. We chose to sit at bar and then after a few minutes a table miraculously was available. Food was very spicy and no queso available with white cheese. Dessert was good. Doesn't stand out to us and we travel often all over the country.

We were traveling to see family for the holidays and got to talking with our flights captain before we boarded and asked if he had any recommendations for dining in Harrisburg and he recommended El Sol.

Nice atmosphere and decor, we felt like we were dining in a restaurant in Mexico. Come to find out the owner and head chef is from Mexico and he takes an incredible amount of pride in his place. You can tell that but the decor and more specifically the food.

You definitely won't leave hungry as they have huge portions and everything we ordered was served hot and tasty. We decided to sit in the bar and the bartender Mark was awesome. Great recommendations for the cocktails we had and he didn't skimp on the alcohol.

Definitely not expensive either like you would expect for a more upscale Mexican restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is interested in having some great food and great service.

Mexican food... very satisfying. good place to catch up with friends. definitely worth a return visit. the prices are fair for the quality of food.

Mexican food and the atmosphere here is great. service is always prompt even when they have a full house. there was quick and friendly service. i can see why they have so many great reviews.

If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place. Its really low key and other healthy choices as well. Its never crowded whenever I go and not to loud and calm atmosphere. The drink are good as well also along with the sizes of them. Parking is fairly easy and so are their food prices as well.
