Restaurant was not busy, but there was no staff in the dining room, bar or hostess stand. After the wait to be seated we were discouraged to sit upstairs at the tables, but rather encouraged to sit down in a booth. We sat up. Server was congenial, helpful and attentive though we were the only table in the upper dining area. The food was so-so. The burger was thick and cooked to order but dry. The chips were not fresh and were cold. The Italian Sausage was lost on the bun and the peppers were not fresh. The french fries were good. When departing we were thanked for stopping in. Historical value makes the trip worthwhile.

Decent place. My experience from start to finish was pretty good. The service was really great. Our server was just the right amount of attentive without be a pest. Everything we ordered was cooked right. We ordered an appetizer and got to enjoy it. I hate when places rush my entree out right behind my appetizer. They timed it great. The food was all delicious and the prices were fair. Only thing I didn't like was that my mashed potatoes were put on my plate with an obvious "scooper" so it was a perfect dome. I think it makes a plate of food from a restaurant look amateur. Just use a spoon. I'd def come back again.

I went to Firehouse recently with a party of 12 and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very unique. The manager and the waiter were extremely attentive and helpful.

We went here on the recommendation of a business acquaintance and were very happy we did. Service was excellent and they actually remember how timing is supposed to be between appetizer and entree. We had the firecracker shrimp for an appetizer, really tasty and a good size portion. My wife had the bacon wrapped scallops and I had the fish and chips. Very, very good and the fish portion was huge. Loved the heavy lacquer paint scheme and the overall layout, as well as all the fire engine memorabilia and models. Really can't recommend this place enough. Great job Firehouse.
