I absolutely love this place! The portions are always large and the food is so delicious. I wish they had a restaurant so I could go and eat there anytime of the week. Hands-down the best African food in Harrisburg

Collard greens are amazing, ox tail was good, guy will ask you if you like it spicy, and if you do I highly recommend getting some spicy sauce with it

Don't be intimidated by the names on the menu. This is good, well-prepared comfort food. I had the stewed beef over rice with collards, and everything was excellent. The collards were legit--not the tasteless boiled greens that others serve, but flavorful and tender. The beef was also very tender, and the tomato sauce it was served in was perfectly seasoned. And they're very accommodating--they have a wonderful (but HOT) spicy sauce they can serve on the side, but if you don't like spicy food, everything is prepared to be very mild. Try this place next time you're in the market!

Amazing, every visit.

I had iyan with fish and egusi soup. The only thing I did not like was that the fish was bony. Next time I will the iyan with chicken.
The service is great and I liked the food. Tasty Dishes is in the Broad Street market. Expect a vibrant multi ethnic atmosphere. The seating is shared among several food vendors.
