Coming from out of town, and being a nice dive bar fan. And by that I mean having a low scale feel with some great people in the tables and at the bar. I walked in on a Thursday to an absolutely packed place except for 2 seats that were just vacated. I hopped in one and had a Blue Moon on special for $3. There was bingo with full cooperation of the patrons and did a "social" when certain spaces were called, that's basically let's all toast to each other and enjoy the moment.
bar food and the scene at this spot is great. filled me up in no time. i look forward to a return trip. reminds me of a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed.
Everyone likes Ted's. They can cook everything, and well. Great atmosphere too. I had the Ahi Tuna appetizer recently, and it absolutely delicious. One thing I noticed is that everyone feels comfortable here, whether you're there for a beer with friends, out on a date, or even with your family. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the overhead music is sometimes so loud that if you're right under it or near it, it can be difficult to carry on a conversation.
Stopped in for lunch and luckily they were having their wing special on a Sunday. I got 3 orders of different flavors. All were awesome! Would love to go back and try some other flavors sometime soon. Good beer selection and off TO-GO sixpacks of various beers. Overall a good little city bar in Harrisburg.
It took a while to get to place an order but once order was placed food came out very fast. Chicken gyro was very good, fresh cut fries are good as well. Their wing sauces are very unique and good. Beer was a little pricey, a draft of Dirt Wolf IPA was $7.
