This place is supreme quality! The jambalaya is to die for! The chicken sandwich is worth traveling 1 hour for. I can’t forget the staff which is super friendly! Definitely a recommended spot!

The food here is simply amazing! From catfish to mac n cheese to cornbread to fried chicken to potato salad to BBQ brisket, everything was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The staff were all very polite and kind. The environment was fun with music and colored lights and beautiful art. I will definitely be coming again to get some delicious home cooked comfort food!

This is some of the best food i have ever eaten. I cannot describe how delicious the meal i had here was. The ribs and brisket was absolutely phenomenal. If i could recommend to you a few things to try i would recommend the following: ribs, fried chicken, brisket, mac & cheese, and biscuit/corn bread.

WOW! Best Jambalaya I've ever tasted. My wife's cousin Eric recommended this place because of Chef Keith Taylor's mastery of soul food and creole cuisine. But believe it or not, that wasn't even the best thing we ate! The MONEY bite came unexpectedly from the pork French Fries. Oh my goodness! Flavorful, and the pork with the fries just dissolved in your mouth!!! It was an unbelievable bite! The wings were literally the biggest chicken wings I ever had - Three Mile Island sized, LOL. They're smoked, and you really get that. My sauce was a honey something or other. The sweetness with the smoke & heat was perfect. Chef Taylor also visited our table, which was cool. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I selected the meat and three platter. I ordered whitefish, baked mac, mashed yams and collard greens. The fish came with a side of remoulade. Everything was super delicious. I do think the collard greens was a little salty but it wasn’t unbearable. Just not a preference for my meals. I also didn’t care for the cornbread. But the mac, yams and fish ? Amazing!!!!!!
