Carsonville Hotel

Its a great m'cycle ride, good parking off road. Food is low average, at least that's my experience in 5-6 visits. Had a plain cheesesteak and gravy fries today. Wife had pulled pork. My c-steak was burnt on edges and v well done in middle ... v well done. Fries were cold, but gravy warm. Beer .. cold! Wife said pulled pork good. My c-steak roll was toasted to hide the fact it was couple days old. (Sunday today). We will go back, I will ask for med rare cheesesteak and hot french fries. People are nice, friendly. Service was slow but had my beer ... we will go back.

Carsonville in a class of it's own. Appreciate it for what it is. Good food and drinks you will find also.

I have been going to Carsonville for almost 40 years. I remember when the fire house was behind the hotel. ALWAYS GREAT STEAKS and WOW how about the FRIES. A must stop for a neat place out in the mountains of upper dauphin county.

Had the best wings here!! It's the WHOLE WING, not these little pieces! French fries are really good, too, and you get a large portion! Seems like a little hole in the wall place but it has awesome food!!
