For starters, it’s staffed by wonderful people who remember me every time I come (many times months in between), second the food is superb. There’s literally nothing in the menu I don’t like. “Food is effing amazing. No fat on the pork, it’s tender and juicy. The burgers are cooked exactly as you order them, and the pulled turkey may just be the best thing on the menu. Their sauces are fantastic, I recommend the Tennessee BBQ, and their sides are delicious to boot. You have to try the Mac and Cheese. Best BBQ I’ve had, north of the Mason Dixon line. If I’m being honest, it’s better than the vast majority of BBQ I’ve had south of the Mason Dixon line too. I want them to open a second location in my kitchen.”

My order was not cooked to my specifications, but that isn’t something that I typically like to make a big deal out of it. When they asked about my meal, I told them as much, but insisted it was fine, everyone makes mistakes, etc. Their level of customer service went so above and beyond the call of duty that I would not hesitate to come here again. You can tell that all of the staff take serious pride in the food and experience that they provide. Don’t sleep on Koda.”
