Texas Roadhouse

Wasn't sure about this place since the service at the Palmyra location was slow, but we gave it a shot. Jumped in the doors before 3 larger groups came in, so our wait was less than 5 minutes for the two of us. Hostess staff was friendly. Sat at a booth by the bar and was greeted by our server Kiana.she was very kind and joked with us. Drinks came out quickly and a gentleman who worked there brought me out another Sprite when mine was getting low. Didn't even have to ask. We ordered a chicken strip plate for myself and an 11oz steak for my wife. Side of potatoes and a salad on both. Salads came out quickly which was nice that we had those and the bread to occupy us until the meals arrived. Everything was cooked exactly how we wanted it and Kiana was attentive, asking if we were okay, if we needed anything else, and clearing any plates we were done with. The card machine was down, so we had to do something funky with the card and I couldn't see if the 10% discount had been applied, but we had such good service and food that we didn't care. Still a 5 star experience and worth paying full price for. We would go here again anytime.

The food was absolutely delicious. I haven't been here in years so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to choose my own steak. The service from our waitress was good as well.

The only reason I go back is the food. I haven't always had the best service experience, especially at the take out both. When I walked up to get an update on my order that was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes, an hour later, the lady turned her back on me and ignored me. When the supervisor told her to check on my food she copped at attitude. Ugh.
The managers are good but the staff needs to do better.

Staff was very friendly. We were a large party and were seated fairly quickly. The food came out in a timely manner. Our waitress did very well at meeting all our needs. She was very nice and had a great smile. Singing Happy birthday to my dad was icing on the cake????
