Upland Diner

On a college reunion weekend, fourteen of us showed up for Sunday breakfast. The staff rearranged tables and seated us quickly. This diner has the kind of atmosphere that one wants for such locale. While we were there, other diners included young families, extended families, older couples, police officers, and college students. Breakfast started with lots of good coffee. Some in the group opted for tea, a request handled well. There are juices, and other options on the menu as well. The menu offers a variety of breakfast options. Each person in our group ordered something different - and everyone was pleased. The server was able to keep separate bills for those who needed that. As welcomed as was that for tour group, orders were taken quickly, with food served to everyone at once in a short amount of time - impressive in serving fourteen people.

Surprisingly large selection of comfort foods as well as some other pretty sophisticated choices. Our server was friendly and helpful, the food was VERY good, and the servings were just right for three hungry guys. Oh..the bill? 35 bucks for three of us

Stopped here leaving Philly, headed back to Baltimore. Exactly what I wanted from a dinner, breakfast all day, wide selection of choices. The pierogies were an unexpected delight. Easy access back to 95 south bound.

I was pleasently surprised tonight when my sister and I came here for dinner tonight. The last time I was here about 10 years ago the place was a real dump. I don't know who came in and re did the place, but it was awesome. Atmosphere was nice, food was tasty and hot. Only complaint was the service which wasn't too great. Definitely go!!
